New York: Charles Scribner, 1892. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Two volume set, complete, published 1892. Size of each book approx. 6-3/4" x 10-1/4". Red cloth boards with gold lettering and decoration on covers, gold lettering on spines. Wear at corner tips and at chipping at spine ends and corners. Bindings are tight and square, hinges are sound. Cloth covers are lightly soiled. Clean dark blue endpapers, with tasteful custom previous owner bookplate on front pastedown of each book. Pages and edges are clean. First volume has frontispiece illustration with clean tissue guard, along with many black & white illustrations throughout both volumes. Volume 1 - 384 pages; Volume 2 - 284 pages..
