About This Item
Macmillan, 1968. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. 320 pages (complete). 'The Toy Crusaders' was the second of just four novels written by Richard Jones (he abandoned his novel-writing when he was devastated by the accidental death of his 6 year old daughter). This comedy of British manners, ambitions, social politicking and Arab sensibilities is a small treasure. The dustjacket is attractive and pleasant. There is some mild wear to the edges and corners. The cover too is pleasant. There is some light shelving wear. Inside, the frontispage has a gift inscription (not from the author). The contents are calm, tight. The pages are fresh, clean, creamy, clear, assured - as if new. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
