Chicago: John C. Winston, 1937. Hardcover. Very Good. Shinn, Everett. Large 8vop, full blue cloth with color cover plate. Introduction and illustrations by Everett Shinn, including the cover plate, 2-color endpapers, and 8 interior colorplates plus b&w illustrated title page, intial cap chapter heads and equally charming chapter tails. Prior to 1948, the publisher did not indicate first printings in any way. Slight foxing to fore edge and a few page edges with light browning, else a nice bright copy with bookplate to verso of frontis.
