Scarce first edition, first printing signed and inscribed by the author on half-title page ("For Jean with all good wishes, John Timpson, 27.XI. 95"). Blue covers with gilt, 216pp inc index. Covers have very lightly sunned edges, otherwise no obvious faults and internally very clean and tight. Unclipped DJ has just light rubbing to fore corners. A VG copy indeed. Ref:093353.
