Great Britain: Oxford University Press, 1963. Second Edition. Hardback. Very Good -/Good +. Second Edition, Third Impression. Forest green cloth over boards with gilt particulars, decoration and two bands to spine; debossed rule to boards with gilt decoration to front board. Pages have tanning to margins, but are otherwise clean and unmarked. Text block is soiled; lower edge deckled. Binding cracked at frontispiece, but still holds. Boards are soiled with rubbing to edges, corners and ends of spine; corners and ends of spine bumped; sunning to spine with some tarnishing and rubbing to gilt. Binding is sound, spine is cocked. Dust jacket has light to moderate rubbing, creasing, closed tears and chipping to edges, corners and ends of spine; open tear at fore edge of front cover; large chips at ends of spine; red pen mark to lower edge of front cover and price mark in pencil to front flap; sunning to spine. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
