Book in FAIR condition Illustrated endpapers, and seven b&w photographs (people, places). When Joseph Rank started in business for himself the electric telegraph was a novelty and railways were still primitive. Milling had been in his blood (both his father & grandfather owned windmills), and at the age of 20 was obliged to run his deceased father's mill. This book details his successes - and the WWII German bombs which ended the Clarence Mills and his dynasty.
