About This Item
New York: Henry Holt, 1948. First American Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine. Frank Wilson. Small 8vo (7 1/2" x 5 1/4"), green cloth with gold lettering on spine, 18 in-text light-hearted drawings by LTC Frank Wilson, Mylar-protected pictorial dust jacket, i-x, [11-12] 13-128 pages. Amusing British classic about "Gamesmanship" = how to win without technically cheating, though too often by trying to demoralize or outthink your opponent! Solid & bright copy with clean contents--no writing, underlining, or foxing. The dust jacket has a few tiny nicks along its extremities and a hint of bleed-through by the green cloth along the dj's lower back margin--not adversely affecting the amusing golfing picture. The perfect gift for a game-player or golfer! :-).
