Two volume set in stunning full tree calf leather binding by Bickers and Son with their stamp, gilt shield to front cover of each volume, spines very heavily decorated in gilt with five raised bands, contrasting red and green leather spine labels lettered and numbered in gilt, cover borders and edges decorated in gilt, marbled endpapers, illustrated throughout, 1472 pages, prize bookplate to paste down endpaper of each volume, rubbing to small section of board edge of one volume otherwise a lovely set in near fine condition.
