Fair-Good/No Jacket. 14 Cms x 20 Cms. vii+315; large sig. to front pastedown, front endpaper tanned and top outer corner clipped, tanning patches top pages up to p.2 and then scattered spotting resuming after c. p.308 increasingly heavy up to verso last leag and rear endpaper outer side completely tanned, odd spots intermittent throughout, private impressed address stamp to top corner from t.p. to leaf 2/3 (colourless), a few other internal sl.gutter openings; covers clean but 2 short cloth tears bottom spine and corner bumping. 15 anecdotal chapters, some clearly based on historical facts others, replete with dialogue, seem to be more fictional. Some anthropological content.
