Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1923. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Very Good DJ. First edition (I-X code), very good + cloth hardcover with pasted on color illustration to cover shows mild soil and shelf wear to covers, some light chipping wear to page fore edges where they most likely had to be cut, along with bit of soil at endpapers and some other light trace wear, in very good + dust jacket (price at flap) that shows mild rubbing particularly along spine and touch of edgewear. 253 pages with seven color plates by Chapman and Street. Still an attractive first edition copy of this work from Grey that collects pre-20th century stories of the West as told by guides and friends of the author.
