1919. George G. Harrap & Co. London. First edition. No DW. Large 4to. Original green cloth, gilt, printed in black to upper board. Boards and extremities rubbed. 24 extraordinary b/w plates on quality paper plus illustrations in text. Contents very slightly shaken though sound. Endpapers browned with occasional foxing to pages, neat faded ownership inscription. Some pages slightly dog eared and the edges of some plates slightly worn. A classic work.
