Philadelphia: Blakiston, Son & Co, 1891. First Edition ~1st Printing. Hardcover. the scarce original 1891 printing, very good in brown cloth boards, no dust jacket (presumably as issued); hinges are cracked but firmly attached, owner name written on blank front flyleaf and on back endpaper (both front and rear endpapers appear to be the original brown paper), small tear at top of back endpaper else a remarkably tight sound copy with no markings and surprisingly bright supple pages
