The dust jacket, bearing the price $1.50, has a small piece missing at the lower front tip, and the foot of the spine, with a small crease on the rear panel. Previous owner's very small book plate on the front paste down. The dj is now protected in a mylar sleeve. Scarce in the jacket. Alfred N. Whitehead is an English Mathematician and Philosopher, perhaps best known as a defining figure in philosophical school, process philosophy. His most notable work is the three volume, Principe Mathematica, recognized as one of the top 100 nonfiction books of the 20th century.
