Sterling Bunnell (1882-1957) is considered to have originated the specialty of hand surgery; he was responsible for the designation of some Army hospitals as hand centers in WWII. (G-M 4404.2) Very light cloth wear (with a small superficial area of discoloration front cover), near fine. Surprisingly uncommon in cloth first edition.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine.
