Ink stamp inside front cover, holes and chips in first pages, extensive worm holes p. 773 onwards. Vol. II has detached boards, deteriorated spine with cracks, worn edges and corners, ink stamp inside front cover (E. Radford, Builder, Lyme Regis), some uncut pages
