About This Item
New York: Random House, 1956. First Edition. Near fine in a worn dust jacket which is heavily chipped, torn, creased, and with internal tape repairs. Jayne Mansfield created her signature role of sexy blonde bombshell Rita Marlowe in the Broadway debut opposite Walter Matthau and Orson Bean, and then repeated her success in the acclaimed film adaptation directed by Frank Tashlin and co-starring Tony Randall. The book has photograph illustrations including one of Jane receiving a massage, and her photo is on the front panel of the book’s binding as well as on the front of the dust jacket.
