Ottawa : A S Woodburn , 1885 . First Edition . VG . 8VO . A later work by Canadian pioneer and author Catherine Parr Traill, illustrated with 8 chromolithographs from painting by her neice Agnes Fitzgibbon, daughter of Suzanna Moodie. Heliotype portrait frontis. Bound in green pebbled cloth, quite elaborately decoreated in gilt, AEG. Scattered foxing, some to the plates. Hinges cracked but book is solid. Some wear to the corners, spine tips eroded, gilt somewhat dulled.
