Dent & Sons Ltd in 1964. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Illustrated with a frontispiece map. This work was written by English author Arthur Catherall. Catherall is best known for writing children's books and adventure novels. This gripping work is set on Faroe Island which comes under threat when a strange and haunting creature turns up on the island in the middle of a storm. The UK version of this work is published with the alternative title '"The Strange Invader'. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only slight bumping and very minimal discolouration to the head and tail of the spine. Very light offsetting to the endpapers. The wrap is very smart with fading to the spine and to the head of the wrap, light rubbing to the spine with chipping to the head and tail and a one inch closed tear to the head, slight shelf wear to the extremities of the wrap and very minimal offsetting to the head of the rear flyleaves. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. Near Fine
