About This Item
New York: Horace Liveright, 1928. Around 1915 the famed Irish novelist/memoirist had begun to revise his earlier work and reissue much in limited editions. "Story-Teller's Holiday" had been privately printed and issued to subscribers before, in 1918. This version from a decade later is now the product of a major publisher and issued in a slightly larger edition. These are Very Good Plus to Near Fine copies. Green cloth binding, decoratively stamped, filled with gilt on the spine. Volume One is SIGNED and NUMBERED on the page opposite the title page. Clean text; 257 pages and 263 pages. Heavy, good-quality paper stock, with the edges left rough. Much better copies than usually seen; for some entirely mysterious reason, these limited editions of Moore's often appear in very rough condition. This set has a bit of rub at the head and/or foot of the spine, else Fine copies. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Limited/Numbered.. Decorative Cloth. Very Good Plus/No Jacket.
