London: Privately Printed, 1918. First Printing of the Signed and Limited Edition of Moore's stories. By this time the famed Irish novelist/memoirist had begun to revise much of his earlier work and release that and his current work in nicely-produced limited editions. Privately printed for subscribers only by Cumann Sean-eolais na h-Eireann. This is one of 1000 copies SIGNED by the author on the limitation page. Moore published the same title in America, with a different binding and limitation. A Very Good copy, showing some lightly-bumped corners and moderate shelfwear. Vellum spine has darkened; the paper label is complete but has a wrinkle.The dustwrapper is not present; in an archival plastic protector. Laid-in is a rather interesting invitation Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Signed by Author. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
