The history of the Dundee Royal Infirmary from 1798 to 1948 which for one hundred and fifty years had served the community when in 1948 the State assumed responsiblity of this hospital in the East of Scotland. Blue cloth, gilt titling to spine, pastedown letter to ffep by the author to the recipient of this book, frontispiece, many black and white photographs, 71 pages plus a cluster of more photographs at the end. Light edge wear and a small pressure mark to top, spine ends a bit worn, gift inscription to first pastedown by the original recipient of the book as stated in the letter. Inside the book is clean and tight. Dust jacket shows some age darkening and a water stain, spine ends and corners worn, it is unprofessionally covered with a self-adhesive clear plastic, plastic is wrinkled in several places. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees.
