For 68 years - 1890 to 1958 - the streetcars and trams dominated and defined urban and interurban transportation in the most populated areas of B.C. Today only traces remain of this fascinating and well-run system that once brought people from all over the world to examine its operation. Includes over 270 fascinating illustrations, plans of rolling stock, tickets, transfers, beautiful route maps, public schedules, employee's timetables, rosters of rolling stock and old Buzzers." - from dust jacket.
