Boston: Little, Brown & Company, 1935. First Edition . Hardcover. Dust Jacket Included. First thus, the "Mississippi River Edition", near fine in a very good dust jacket. Yellowish-brown cloth with brown lettering, just slight handling wear and bookstore stamp on rear blank endpapers. The jacket has a small chip at the top of the spine that affects the title lettering, as well as some edgewear with slight loss. With a blurb from Will Rogers on the front flap. Rogers starred in the 1935 John Ford movie made from the book (Rogers' last film role). Drawings by Alice Caddy. $2.50 publisher's price on front flap; a tight, square copy.
