The trial of Thomas Picton, sometime Governor of Trinidad, causing the torture to be inflicted upon Luisa Calderon (1806) – scandal of colonial administration. Softening to the backstrip edges with rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. Very faint browning of the textblock edges and pages with a hint of foxing to the textblock edges.
