Reviews

On Apr 16 2021, a reader said:
Published first in 1937, this story is about the spread of a fantastic idea that Martians are bombarding us with cosmic rays to change our genetics. This is an idea that serves to let Wells explore a thought experiment of how people can be swept up by ideas that have little or no basis in fact, making this novel still relevant today.
