Marius Maxwell's 'Stalking Big Game With A Camera In Equatorial Africa' beautifully illustrated and very scarce with the dust wrapper with photographic plates throughout, including large folding plates. Reprint by The Medici Society Ltd. Illustrated with one-hundred and three plates taken by the author Marius Maxwell. Including several lovely large folding plates. The book follows hunters as they stalk and hunt the big game of Africa. With a preface by Sir Sidney F Harmer, British zoologist and president of the Linnean Society. Collated, complete. In full cloth binding. Externally smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities. Minor rubbing to the front and rear joints. Offsetting to the front and rear pastedowns and endpapers. Dustwrapper is worn. Most of the spine is missing due wear, and is reinforced with addition paper. The top and bottom edge of the wrap is chipped. Agetoning to the front and rear of wrap, with some minor spotting. Small ink stain to the rear of wrap. Internal to the wrap, minor offsetting with some slight spotting. Front flyleaf is held by tape. Numerous tape repairs to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with the odd spot, mainly to the first and last pages. Very Good Indeed
