New York: New York Graphic Society, 1980. 112pp.59 full color illustrations. Black Cloth, embossed Silver lettering, ruling. Slight rubbing to the lower edges, otherwise a fine, unmarked copy. The unclipped pictorial jacket has rubbing to the spine edges, corner, otherwise bright in a mylar sleeve. "Meyerowitz was invited to contribute his view of the city by the St Louis Art Museum in the fall of 1977. Four visits and four hundred images produced this fascinating take on the towering Gateway Arch and surrounding metropolis. He began photographing in color in 1962 and was an early advocate of the use of color during a time when there was significant resistance to the idea of color photography as serious art.".
