Published in conjunction with an exhibition that will open in early 1999 at the National Museum of American Indian, Goerge Gustav Heye Center, Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House, New York City. Spirit Culture is published with the assistance of a grant from the Smithsonian Women's Committee Native American of North America. Indigenous People of the Americas.
