London: Lawrence & Wishart (but printed in 'U.S.S.R. Moscow', 1936. 1st British Edition . Soft cover. VG- for age and genre/VG- for age. Wraparound jacket unclipped but slight rubbing to spine, very slightly, bottom front edge, white back has a number of faint dust patches which resist erasure, in wraparound acetate protective sleeve as issued. Tipped on red title to front card cover, + red Stalin quote+ f/piece (on recto) of author+t.p. with author's name in red at top (but lacking 'Pasionara)+261 pp.(pag.inv.whole textblock); internally clean and unmarked but slight top outer cornershallow creasing, larger after p.247 and severer after p.257. A crucial Spanish Civil war document, U.K. edition apprently very scarce. 15 cm x 22 cm
