New York: Oxford University Press. Good+ with no dust jacket. 1920. Third Edition. Hardcover. Brown cloth cover is clean with very minimal wear. Blind stamped double border on front and back, gilt lettering on front and spine is bright. Front paste down endpaper has bookplate of the Library of the Medical Society of Kings and withdrawn stamp. Library stamp on title page and last page. Pages otherwise clean and unmarked. Top edge of text block has speckled foxing. Lacking DJ. This is the third edition which has been revised to include details of the astronomical confirmation of general relativity. Translated from German by Henry L. Brose. Professor Schlick was a physicist and philosopher who along with members of the Vienna Circle developed logical positivism, also known as logical empiricism. Book would be near fine if not for ex-library status. ; Ex-Library; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 89 pages .
