About This Item

Edmonds, WA: Pacific Fast Mail/PFM, 1982. First edition First printing. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Cover painting by Mike Pearsall. 272 pages of text, photographs, some in color, maps, diagrams and rosters. The "Slim Princess" was said to have been built 300 miles too long and 300 years too soon. The visionary plan was of connecting with the distant Colorado River and all the silver and gold towns that would spring-up between. Bookplate on the front endpaper, else fine in near fine, bright, price-clipped dust jacket with the merest hint of edge wear.
