Black-and-white illustrations, throughout the text, by Hal Gye. Bright blue coloured boards with gilt illustration to the front panel and gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, again by Hal Gye, with white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. The classic Bloke and his Lady Doreen. The courtship, winning, losing, winning (again) and eventual happy ever after for a man and his lady. Rubbing to the backstrip edges and corners. Some stains to the front panel, the top and bottom edges of both the front and rear end pages with offset tanning also present to the end pages. Previous owners name to the top edge of the free front end page. The internal pages are clean and bright. Minor chipping of the dustwrapper corners with rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and. Staining of the dustwrapper panels and to the bursar of the dustwrapper – please see photograph. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). (12), 13-128 pages,.
