Inscribed on the half title page by the author and illustrator Clare Leighton "For W.F. from C.L. / February 14, 1974". Very clean unmarked copy, slight darkening to pastedowns at the gutters otherwise fine. Dust jacket corners clipped, spine panel mildly tanned, one small chip at top of rear panel, dj now in a new protective mylar sleeve. Uncommon signed. Illustrated with lithographs.
