Williams and Norgate, 1892. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1892. No Edition Remarks. 424 pages. No dust jacket. Social Statics, Abridged And Revised, Together With The Man Versus The State. Purple embossed cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's name and pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Slight rub marking to page 17 gutter. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a mild forward lean. Water drops on front and rear boards.
