The 'Author's Edition' of this uncommon work.Author's presentation copy, inscribed to the recto of the front endpaper, 'To, Jill Holloway, with congratulations on the scholar shift, from, Russell Thorndike, New York, 1930'.'The Slype' is set in the fictional boring English town 'Dullchester', which becomes plagued by a series of bizarre disappearances. Written by Russell Thorndike, a British actor best known for his 'Doctor Syn' series. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few small marks to the boards and spine. Spine is faded. Front hinge is starting but firm. Author's inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
