London: John Murray, 1904. First [limited] edition (hardback). 8vo (25cm by 20cm), xxvii, 328pp. 48 colour plates, 18 text illustrations. Original white parchment spine, grey boardsgilt titling and design to the spine, top edge gilt. The spine is rubbed, there is some foxing to the preliminary pages, and a bookplate to the front pastedown. Overall, this book is in good plus condition. This is the large-paper edition, limited to 150 numbered copies (this is copy number 112), printed on higher-quality paper than the trade edition.
