About This Item
Santa Cruz: Scream / Press, 1985. Hardcover. Near fine/Fine. This book from Scream/Press is often cited as one of the best-looking Stephen King limited editions. It was supposed to come out before the Putnam's edition (and that trade edition says it was preceded by this edition, but production delays pushed back the date of the signed edition). This book is illustrated by JK Potter, with a full-color frontispiece, effective black-and-white illustrations throughout, and a laid in print of the graphic on the slipcase.
The present edition includes the story "Becka Paulson", which was not included in the trade edition of Skeleton Crew; it was collected two years later in The Tommyknockers.
Limited to 1000 numbered copies, signed by King and Potter.
xxvi, 545, [9]. A near fine copy in a fine dust jacket and slipcase. The original number of the limited edition was apparently written in error; it was inked out and the correct number written alongside the original. There is a bit of tanning to the page edges. A very nice copy of this great SK limited edition.
