First printing An x-library copy in near fine condition in heavy blue cloth covered boards with bright gilt text stamping on the spine with the dust jacket attached to the end papers and boards and with the remnants of a removed book plate on the first free end paper (without any staining) and a small library stamp and related numbers on the table of contents page. The small library stamp also appears on the last page of text. In a near fine dust jacket although it is attached to the end papers of the book and to its boards. The author's second novel in the series dealing with Nick Everard, who, in this book is the second in command of a British destroyer participating in the raid on the German base Zeebrugge during the first World War. 224 pages of text. Being an x-library copy this volume is remarkable free of the typical library disfigurements making it a very handsome copy quite collectable condition.
