Pp. x+74; cr. 8vo; grey cloth, spine lettered in red, fore-corners of boards lightly bruised, spine slightly browned at extremities; dust wrapper, lightly soiled and foxed, edges worn and torn, with pieces torn from head and foot of backstrip and a long closed tear to back flap fold; book label of David Levine, Sydney, on upper pastedown, hinge tender at centre, free endpapers faintly offset, outer leaves and edges lightly foxed; Methuen & Co Ltd, London, 1940. First edition. *Humorous wartime poems. 'The subjects vary from the Schedule of Reserved Occupations to "Von Ribbentrop, the cosmic flop", and from Hitler's Birthday to Mussolini, the "top-wop"'[wrapper blurb].
