Full early C19th tan calf; raised bands, elaborate gilt decorations and red leather title label on spine; gilt decorations around board edges; brown endpapers. Small chip at fot of spine, a few light marks, two armorial bookplates on front pastedowns and front free endpapers: good. Part of the extensive set of British Novelists edited by Mrs Barbauld [The British Novelists; with an Essay, and Prefaces Biographical and Critical by Mrs Barbauld. A New Edition, Volume XXVIII]..
