(silver would be more appropriate) gilt lettering to spine and a Venetian silhouette with a gondola and gondolier in gilt on front cover, very light shelf wear to cover edges, but very gently used, tight in binding, very clean and unmarked throughout, pages fresh and white; DJ rumpled and chipped along top and bottom edges, several short tears, but bright, clean and colourful. . First American Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good ++/Good.
