Tim Bowden (b. 1937) is an Australian author and historian, known for producing several documentaries about research undertaken by Australian teams in the Antarctic. His other works include 'Antarctica and Back in Sixty Days', 'Changi Photographer' and 'The Way My Father Tells It: The Story of an Australian Life'.  The Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions, now known as The Australian Antarctic Program, were established in 1947 with expeditions going to Macquarie Island and Heard Island.Profusely illustrated with full plate and vignette photographs, maps and diagrams in colour and monochrome.
