About This Item
"Short Stories" collection of the works of F. SCOTT FITZGERALD with its original dust jacket. 1963; The Bodley Head; London. Volume six of a six-volume set. Selected and introduced by Malcolm Cowley. Please see the photos for the complete list of stories. From the dust jacket: "The fame of Scott Fitzgerald's novels has tended to rob his other writings of their due of attention. In fact he wrote 150 short stories and to the best of them he brought that hard core of honesty and self-discipline which was never blurred or softened by the extravagances of his life. Malcolm Cowley's choice includes all that deserve to be permanently in print. Volumes V and VI of The Bodley Head Scott Fitzgerald reveal an aspect of his art which may astonish those who have never had the opportunity of seeing if fully represented."
