Duell, Sloan & Pearce, January 1941. First Edition. Hardcover. Good - Cash/Fair. First Edition. Ex-Library. Very crisp clean beige cloth hardboards with dark burgandy embellishments. Vibrant gold gilt lettering on the spine. Still protected by dust jacket. Green colored map of the U.S. on front and back paste downs. Corners bumped with minor fraying to one corner. Ex-library sticker pasted down behind front cover. Brown spotting to the edges of textblock. DJ has surface rubbing, edgewear, and several edge tears. The number 3 is written in pencil on the dust jacket's spine. Body of text is crisp and clean with unmarked pages. Pages are secure. Binding is solid and still tight. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.
