A later edition of GOD'S PROTECTING PROVIDENCE..., originally published in 1699, and one of the most popular of 18th-century captivity narratives. Despite being robbed and abused by the Indians, they were allowed to make their way up the coast to St. Augustine. An unusual early Ohio imprint.
