Frederick Warne & Co., 1951. Hardcover. Good. 1951. Reprint. 443 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Contains colour illustrated frontispiece, with other plates and black and white illustrations throughout. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Plates are bright. Binding is slightly shaky, due to cracked front hinge, but all pages remain attached. Small inscription to front pastedown. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright. A few noticeable marks overall.
