New York: Pantheon Books, 1997. First Edition. First Printing. Hardcover. very good condition/fair. 238 pages, glossary, suggested reading and bibliography, index, part of DJ cut away at bottom back, red dot on top edge. Divorced from Joseph P. Kennedy II in 1991 after her 12-year marriage to the youngest member of the the Kennedy clan currently holding elective office, Sheila Rauch Kennedy took primary custody of their twin boys and set about remaking her life as a single parent in the relative obscurity imposed by the confidentiality clause negotiated as part of the divorce settlement. In 1993, Congressman Joseph Kennedy sought the annulment of his marriage with Rauch, in order to remarry in the Catholic Church. This book details the author's struggle to defend the legitimacy of her former marriage.
