Green cloth boards with gilt titles. Tape residue marks to endpapers and otherwise contents are free of markings, tears or folds. Dustjacket has a chip to spine and edge wear.
Color illustrations accompany quotations from twenty-four Shakespearean dramas about twenty-seven flowers. Kerr provides an explanation on what each flower meant in Elizabethan times and Shakespeare's particular use of it in his plays.
