The page edges are somewhat darkened, else very good with the remnants of the dust wrapper laid in. <p>First trade edition.<p>Clemence Dane is the pseudonym of Winifred Ashton. This copy is signed as Clemence Dane on the half-title. The initials "WA" are penciled on the front panel of the dust wrapper.
