This is the 1972 reprint of Martin Dickson's Ph.D. thesis of 1958. University Microfilms, a division of Xerox, was a very valuable resource for scholars looking for the original thesis, not available otherwise. Their catalogue consisted of pretty much every doctoral thesis back to 1861. This was from the personal library of a very avid collector and librarian who had a special interest in Persia and the Middle East. $40.00 Box B21
